The FREJA TOP in the Burning Night print features photographic imagery from the new book collaboration, printed onto lightweight cotton gauze.
Burning Night takes its name from work by Ōtepoti-based photographers Esta de Jong and Lance Strickland, whose photography-led practice embraces high-contrast darkroom methodologies, composed fashion portraiture, and a raw, tactile analogue energy. The imagery printed across these garments comes from the Burning Night book, created in collaboration with JPALM, Esta, Lance, and Ted Whitaker.
Lightweight and breathable, the FREJA TOP has a slight A-line silhouette that falls loosely from the body. The fine cotton gauze gives the piece an airy, almost translucent quality, while raw hems at the neckline, cuffs, and hemline add a relaxed finish.
