First developed in 2014 and refined over the years, the Utility Jacket is JPALM’s most recognisable and enduring silhouette. The cropped femme cut, curved dropped shoulder, and sculpted two-piece sleeve have been perfected to strike the balance between utility and shape.
Cut in Ash Bleach - a black Italian-origin denim, hand-treated with an ash-beige bleach splatter - each piece is individually bleached, washed, and pressed by Julia in the JPALM workroom. No two jackets are alike, making each one a wearable one-off.
Finished with domed closures at the centre front and pocket flaps, plus raw hems with a 1cm safety stitch, designed to fray and soften with time and wear.
