This piece was inspired by developing a garment that can both be hardwearing and yet simple. The surplus fabric is a sturdy piece of material which creates a structure to the garment. The faded pinstripe lines is a detail that was fun to experiment with. The back of the skirt is cut on the bias to create a subtle element of contrast.
